1 Step
Van shipping is very similar to the car shipping process, but still, there are some differences.
When you request a quote, provide your pick-up and delivery zip codes, contact details and vehicle details (year, make and model of the van).
2 Step
When you sign the papers, book the spot and receive the driver’s details, it’s high time to get your van ready for shipping. First of all make sure there are no personal items inside the vehicle (unless you plan to ship them), remove all passes, tags and plates, and clean your van.
Once the driver arrives, give him the keys to the vehicle and sign the Bill of Lading, after the driver checks the van for any damages.
3 Step
Pay the driver, when you receive your vehicle at the delivery location and don't forget to inspect the van for any new damages.
If something catches your eye, note it in the Bill of Lading and get in touch with the shipping company. Your shipping manager will help you submit a claim to the carrier's insurance company.

Yes, we work with lots of carriers specializing in the transportation of inoperable vehicles. Simply mark your vehicle as inoperable in a quote form and you'll get rates for shipping non-running vans. Then tell your shipping agent what exactly is wrong with a vehicle, so the company will send you the driver with the required equipment on the trailer.
You can load items into your vehicle with some carriers, but this moment should be negotiated directly with a driver. We advise you to secure the items and pack them carefully to prevent damage to your van. In case it’s damaged the carrier’s insurance will not cover it.
Because drivers occasionally experience delays due to delays at other pick-up locations, unforeseen weather conditions, or traffic jams, we advise you to negotiate the pick-up date at least one day prior to your flight. In case it happens, you can leave the van to your friend, relative, colleague, or neighbor who can release it to the driver.
All of the carriers we use have an amount of experience and are fully insured. But you can also ask the driver to provide you with his MC number and check the insurance details on the FMCSA website.
2 weeks prior to the shipping dates that are available is the ideal time to make the transportation reservations. But you can request and start planning the shipment as soon as you know the addresses for pick up and drop off and the vehicle you will ship (in case you are planning to buy it).
The dimensions and the weight of the vehicle matter a lot as it affects the price and type of the trailer that is required for van shipping.
